Who We Are
Our History
Founded in June 2018, Housing Plus Inc. embarked on a mission to address Atlanta's housing crisis, initially focusing on creating co-housing units for homeless men with funding assistance from United Way of Greater Atlanta. As community needs grew, HPI strategically partnered with local leaders and organizations, expanding its services fueled by generous donations.
Today, Housing Plus Inc. offers a comprehensive suite of services, including Short-Term Emergency Rental Assistance, Motel To Home Permanent Housing Assistance, various Financial Achievement Clubs with Savings Match. With a steadfast commitment to its vision, HPI continues to pursue programs that promote Housing Stability, Financial Wellness, and Generational Wealth Establishment.
What We Do
Housing Stability
Short-Term Emergency Rental Assistance
We offer vital support to low- and moderate-income families in the Greater Atlanta area to help them avoid eviction. Our initiatives include assistance with security deposits and first month's rent, aiding families in transitioning from extended stays to permanent housing.
Economic Wellness
Empowering Families Through Education and Skills Training
We empower low- and moderate-income families by providing essential education and skills training to enhance financial intelligence and resilience. Our programs focus on increasing income, reducing debt, building emergency savings, and fostering small business success.
