Outreach is dedicated to connecting individuals experiencing homelessness with immediate housing, supportive services and appropriate resources. Housing Plus Inc. focuses on building trust in the community, connecting with area landlords and bringing awareness to resources available in the Greater Atlanta area.
This innovative collaborative transitional housing initiative is executed by Housing Plus, Inc., United Way, and many other agencies in the local Atlanta community to increase access to affordable housing and services in an effort to reduce homelessness throughout Greater Atlanta. This program provides case management and other supportive services to increase the stability of individuals experiencing homelessness on the road to housing stability
The Mobile Care Advocate works with families to address past trauma, financial abuse and the impact on current and future economic sustainability. The six month program has been tailored to help transition families from area shelters to permanent housing with increased credit scores, higher income and emergency savings.
Housing Plus Inc.'s The Plus Team helped connect individuals with income experiencing homelessness to permanent housing immediately. The Plus Team addressed barriers and mediated the landlord-tenant relationship to promote stability for individuals staying on the streets or in shelters. This program concluded at the end of 2022 after averaging 25 placements per month.
Housing Plus, Inc.'s case management division supplies assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation and advocacy for options and services to meet Greater Atlanta household's financial well-being needs. Through collaborative efforts with associated organizations, HPI is able to assist area organizations with housing sustainability goals.
Through Housing Plus Inc.'s partnership with the City of Atlanta and United Way of Greater Atlanta, from 2020-2022, we promoted financial and housing stability for households who experienced the significant financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our efforts yielded approximately 4.5 million dollars of rental assistance for the City of Atlanta residents.
