Building Resilient Professionals (BRP)

What is BRP?

The Building Resilient Professionals (BRP) program is a six-month initiative designed to support and uplift BIPOC frontline workers who are experiencing burnout, financial insecurity, or professional isolation. Through financial education, leadership development, and peer support, BRP helps participants build resilience both at work and at home.

Program highlights include:

  • Matched savings to boost emergency funds
  • In-person leadership development sessions with field experts
  • Peer networking and lunch meetups
  • Individualized coaching and support
  • Workshops on budgeting, credit, and investing

Who It’s For

BRP was created for frontline professionals who are often overlooked—but essential. If you serve your community directly and feel stretched thin, this program is for you.

Ideal participants:

  • Identify as BIPOC and work in direct service roles (e.g., case managers, outreach workers)
  • Earn less than $55,000 per year
  • Have at least one year of experience in a frontline position
  • Are ready to take control of their finances and grow professionally

How It Works

BRP blends flexibility with accountability. Over six months, participants move through in-person sessions designed to educate, connect, and inspire.

The program includes:

  • Three in-person leadership development sessions
  • Monthly virtual workshops on personal finance topics
  • Optional lunch-and-learn networking events with your cohort
  • Monthly savings commitment with matched contributions
  • Ongoing coaching and accountability check-ins

At Completion, Participants May Receive:

By the end of the program, participants walk away with more than just knowledge—they leave with real tools, savings, and a stronger sense of purpose.

Graduates are eligible for:

  • Up to $1,200 in matched savings (save $600, get $600 matched)
  • A $100 credit bonus for increasing your credit score by 30+ points
  • Expanded leadership skills and visibility in your field
  • A supportive peer network and renewed sense of professional confidence
